DAY 1 | Siem Reap - Arrival

Welcomed by escort tour guide (with sign name) then transfers directly to hotel for check in. Simply enjoy free time at hotel or make your own walking tour around town. Overnight in Siem Reap for 3 nights.

DAY 2 | Full Day Angkor Discovery

We depart hotel at 8.00am for full day guided Angkor exploration, start with the south gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces, stroll to explore Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces, admired by Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king, terrace of elephant & Ta Prohm with the stunning tree roots. After lunch, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – is the world’s heritage and the largest monument in the world. Unlock the amazing history and its ancestral incredible masterpieces. Climb to watch beautiful sunset at Phnom Bakheng (limited allowance). Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 3 | Siem Reap Something Unique

Head out to countryside for oxcart adventure ride through charming village, see animals & interesting farming/gardening activities. Then visit Cambodian Liqueur workshop where you have a chance to test many different liqueur flavors, continue Artisan d’Angkor – the finest wood/stone carving centre, see the workshop and many various displaying sculptures, carvings, silk products etc. Afternoon, visit Kompong Phluk village – explore houses on high stilts and learn how life works on Tonle Sap Lake, take a canoe for sightseeing around the mangroves.  Evening, experience unique Phare Cambodia Circus show or Apsara dance performance.

DAY 4 | Flight to Phnom Penh, Killing Field & Sunset Cruise

Take morning flight to Phnom Penh. After check in, drive to witness the tragic site of Cheug Ek killing field and Tuol Sleng S21 museum (tortured prison), both processed hundreds of lives during Red Khmer’s genocide. Evening, get on board, enjoy welcome cocktail while the boat cruise takes you along Mekong river, view spectacular sunset before having buffet dinner on board.

DAY 5 | Phnom Penh City Tour By Cyclo

Journey out to catch a cyclo (rickshaw) then enjoy the highlights of Phnom Penh with Independent monument, ride along the riverside to visit Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and admired by the National Museum. Afternoon, stroll around Russian market for shopping & Wat Phnom with interesting legendary, visit the biggest Aeon mall if it interests you.

DAY 6 | Flight to Vientiane

Have free time of the day before transferring to airport for flight departure to Vientiane, Laos. Welcomed by escort guide upon arrival and simply relax at hotel or make your own first walking orientation after check in. Overnight in Vientiane for 2 nights.

DAY 7 | Vientiane Tour & Buddha Park

Heading out to visit Wat Si Saket – the oldest temple in city then move to Wat Ho Phra Keo, formerly built in 1565 to house the Emerald Buddha, now it houses a small museum of religious art. Continue to the famous That Luang with the gold-covered stupas and admired by Patuxai monument – the most prominent landmark in the city. Afternoon, we process with 25km to the impressive Buddha Park or Xieng Khuan situates along the Mekong River, The park contains more than 200 religious Hindus & Buddha images with three interesting stories representing three levels – Hell, Earth and Heaven.

DAY 8 | Nam Nhum Dam Tour

Today we journey out to the famous Nam Ngum water reservoir or known as a hydroelectric dam on the Nam Ngum river, locates northern Vientiane, where you can see beautiful mountainous landscapes, deep green water of the reservoir and huge rice paddies. En-route to visit the bustling market & the ruins of Mon Temple – built in 11th century in Vang Xang. Afternoon, embark a boat slides around the shoreline to visit fishing villages then disembark for a short walk to learn about the local life. The tour is admired by salt farm and stroll around Dong Mark Khai Market. Overnight in Nam Ngum for 1 night.

DAY 9 | Nam Nhum Dam to Vang Vieng

Enjoy the rest of your time after breakfast at hotel. Drive to Vang Vieng, stop on the way for Tham Chang cave – one of the most important caves of Vang Vieng. Continue to Vang Vieng town and check in then head out to the famous Blue Lagoon for relaxing, swimming in the crystal water, visit a few weaving villages before we continue to take a boat ride along Nam Song River to explore the wonderful spectacular scenery, limestone formation and take beautiful photos of the mountainous countryside. Overnight at Vang Vieng for 2 nights.

DAY 10 | Vang Vieng - Free Time

DAY 11 | Vang Vieng to Phonsavan & Plain of Jars

Drive to Xieng Khuang after breakfast, the journey with 5.30 hours offers beautiful landscapes of countryside. After check in, head out to explore the plain of jars (Phonsavan) laying on the huge rice fields – known as the home of giant stone jars dated back at least 2000 years and associated with the historical war between 1964 and 1973. Learn from your guide about the mysterious story & enjoy the guided walking tour around. Overnight for 1 night in Phonsavan.

DAY 12 | Phonsavan to Luang Prabang

DAY 13 | Pak Ou Caves & Luang Prabang Tour

Head out to explore the mystery of Pak Ou Caves where you will see thousands of scared Buddha statues, lacquered in gold in different shapes. Embark the boat cruising along the great Mekong River, passing the stunning nature, from the distance, you will see the limestone cliffs where we disembark to discover the hidden Pak Ou Caves. Learn from your guide about religious story and wander to capture photos of the impressive Buddha images. Return and admired by Lao rice wine, paper wood handicraft & observe silk weaving.

DAY 14 | Alms Ceremony & Khuang Si Waterfall

Today we rise early to see alms giving ceremony, it is good chance to learn about local culture when monks are. in saffron robes from Luang Prabang’s temples walking in long silent processions searching for offerings left to them by the faithful. Return hotel for breakfast before wander around Phosi Market for interesting trading activities, drive & en-route at some ethnic villages to unlock the culture & local life. Continue to the most beautiful Kuang Sy waterfall, enjoy swimming and cool down for a few hours or you may want to trek down the jungle trails to visit black bear sanctuary and witness how it’s being protected.
