DAY 1 | Siem Reap – Arrival

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by our escort guide and driver then transfer directly to hotel for check in. Simply enjoy your own time or make your first highlights around central area or old market.

DAY 2 | Full Day Angkor Discovery

We depart hotel at 8.30am for full day guided Angkor exploration, start with the south gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces, stroll to explore Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king, terrace of elephant & Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed. Enjoy delicious set lunch at Triple K air conditioning restaurant.

After lunch, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest monument in the world. Unlock the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia. Sunset is available at Phnom Bakheng (always crowded & limited allowance) or alternatively to a bit quiet at Pre Rup temple.

DAY 3 | Grand Circuit & Intricately Carved Banteay Srei

Journey out of hotel at 8.30am, drive within Angkor jungle to Grand Circuit of Angkor Complex where there are still some main Angkorian temples to be discovered including Srah Srang (Royal Basin), Banteay Kdei, Ta Keo, Preah Khan (Royal Sword), Ta Som, Neak Pean (Coiled Serpents), East Mebon and other interesting temples if you feel want to see more.

Afternoon, continue to explore the intricately carved, beautiful pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei – considered to be a Jewel of Khmer art which features elaborate decorations and fine details. These factors have made the temple extremely popular with tourists, and have led to its being widely praised as a “precious gem”. On the way back, we have a short observation at palm sugar village and other various local handicrafts before visiting the serenity of Banteay Samre.

DAY 4 | Tonle Sap Lake & City Orientation

Today we head out to Chong Kneas village’s boat pier. The journey takes approximately 30mins with some highlights of Siem Reap City. Once we arrived the pier, we process to embark a private sheltered boat to explore Tonle Sap Lake; the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia and is also an ecological hot spot that was designated as a UNESCO biosphere in 1997. The boat excursion takes us passing floating school, floating houses which animated by some fishing activities. Our tour guide will explain you about Tonle Sap ecosystem and witness how life works in the floating community, and we stop to see floating crocodile farm, souvenirs shop if it interests you. Return Siem Reap City for guided orientation at the finest Artisan Angkor wood/stone carving centre displaying various defined handicraft and silk products, continue to stroll around old market for shopping and see daily trading.

Evening, transfer to have buffet dinner followed by Apsara traditional dance performance at our selected local restaurant.

DAY 5 | Public Bus from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh

Breakfast is at the hotel. Meet our car driver (no guide) then transfers you to Giant Ibis bus station for your journey (6 hours) to Phnom Penh Capital. You will be picked up by our driver then transfer to the hotel for check in. Simply enjoy free time after check in.

DAY 6 | Cheung Ek Killing Field, Phnom Penh Tour & Sunset Cruise

After breakfast, we drive to witness the tragic site of Cheung Ek, known as The Killing Fields where hundreds of Cambodian lives were proceeded between 1975 and 1979 under Khmer Rouge, connecting to Tuol Sleng museum – a former high school that was turned into Tortured Prison S-21 and resume strolling around Russian market for shopping.

Afternoon, continue to visit the National Museum; the world’s most important collection of Khmer sculpture and carvings. Then we enjoy guided orientation around Wat Phnom with interesting legendary of founding Phnom Penh Capital.

Evening at 4.30pm, we get on board, enjoy welcome cocktail while the boat cruise slowly takes you along Mekong & Tonle Sap River, view the spectacular sunset before having buffet dinner on board. Disembark and transfer back to hotel.

DAY 7 | Phnom Penh City Tour & Departure

We set off at 8.00am for interesting morning highlights of Phnom Penh with taking photos of Independent monument, resume to central market to see daily life of trading then we drive to visit the Royal Palace – is a complex of buildings which serves as the royal residence of the king of Cambodia, Silver Pagoda, Royal Stupas, French style building etc. Return hotel and simply enjoy the rest of your free time in Phnom Penh before transferring to airport for your flight back home. Say Goodbye to Cambodia.
