DAY 1 | Phnom Penh - Arrival

Welcomed by escort tour guide (with sign name) then transfers directly to hotel for check in. Simply enjoy free time at hotel or make your own walking tour around town. Overnight in Phnom Penh for 3 nights.

DAY 2 | Cheung Ek Killing Field & Phnom Penh Tour

Breakfast is at hotel. We drive to visit central market with interesting highlights of local trading, head out of the capital to witness the tragic site of Cheung Ek, known as The Killing Fields where hundreds of Cambodian lives were proceeded between 1975 and 1979 under Khmer Rouge, connecting to the Tuol Sleng museum – a former high school that was turned into Tortured Prison S-21 and resume strolling around Russian market for shopping. Enjoy set lunch at a selected local restaurant.
Afternoon, continue to visit the National Museum; the world’s most important collection of Khmer sculpture and carvings. Then we enjoy guided orientation around Wat Phnom with interesting legendary of founding Phnom Penh Capital.

DAY 3 | Phnom Penh City Tour By Cyclo & Sunset Cruise

We set off at 8.30am to challenge a cyclo (rickshaw) for interesting highlights of Phnom Penh with Independent monument, resume the ride along the riverside to visit the Royal Palace – is a complex of buildings which serves as the royal residence of the king of Cambodia, Silver Pagoda, Emerald Buddha, Royal Stupas, French style building etc.
Evening at 4.30pm, we get on board, enjoy welcome cocktail while the boat cruise slowly takes you along Mekong & Tonle Sap River, view the spectacular sunset before having buffet dinner on board. Disembark and transfer back to hotel.

DAY 4 | Phnom Penh to Mondulkiri

After breakfast, we check out of hotel then make the journey toward Sen Monorom, Mondulkiri Province. One the way, we will visit Wat Norkor Temple – Angkorian temple im Kampong Cham. Continue driving to Mondulkiri and check in.

DAY 5 | Mondulkiri – Trekking & Visiting Elephants

Journey out of hotel at 8.00am to the Tree Lodge Bungalows where you be transferred to the starting point of the tour in Mondulkiri protecting area then we trek through the jungle to the Mondulkiri Project’s Jungle Lodge. Here you will listen to your guide talk about the Mondulkiri Project. Next it is time to meet the 5 elephants and their Mahouts. Take lots of photos, get close to the elephants and have fun feeding the elephants bananas. Watch as the elephants walk around eating bamboo and enjoying being elephants. You will also see them scratching against tree trunks and throwing dirt or mud on their backs. After lunch, we continue to the valley for swimming, washing and playing with lovely elephants until late afternoon. Heading back to our awaiting car then drive to our hotel.

DAY 6 | Mondulkiri Bousra Waterfall & Drive to Kratie

Breakfast is at hotel. Heading to visit the most beautiful Bousra Waterfall in Mondulkiri, unwind yourself, cool off and relax by the falls (don’t forget to bring extra clothes if you wish to cool off under the falls). Continue to visit coffee plantation before returning to the hotel for refreshment. Next, we check out of the hotel then we drive directly to Kratie Province. Catch a local boat to Koh Trong Island for check in.

DAY 7 | Full Day Kratie & Irrawaddy Dolphins

After breakfast, we explore Koh Trong Island by push bike (if you don’t like biking) or horse/oxcart ride for sightseeing around Koh Trong, interact local people as well as seeing rural life. Learn from your tour guide about their way of living, routine, culture especially the en-rooted superstitions. Passing traditional stilt houses and hear kids welcoming you by saying “Hello”, you’ll have a lot of chance to take interesting photos. Continue to see Vietnamese floating houses and friendly make a visit to grape farm before heading back to the hotel.
Late afternoon, embark a boat to the mainland then heading to Kampi pool where you take a small boat to capture the special glimpses of rare endangered freshwater Irrawaddy Dolphins and watch beautiful sunset over the Mekong River.

DAY 8 | Kratie to Rattanakiri & Volcanic Lake

We say goodbye to Koh Trong Island, drive to Rattanakiri Province with 4 hours, en-route to visit to Wat Sasar Mouyrouy (100 column pagoda) then resume driving to Ban Lung City for refreshment after check in. After short break, we leave hotel to visit the volcanic lake of Yeak Loam – set amid the pristine rainforest. You have chance to swim and wander around to enjoy natural surroundings.

DAY 9 | Rattanakiri – Ethnic Discovery

Today is a full day excursion to explore some of Cambodia’s ethnic villages and reveal the ethnic minority’s mysterious lifestyle and their culture. Drive to visit the surroundings of an impressive falls, resume driving to northwest, passing bamboo forest to visit Veun Sai village – a Chinese blooded Khmer ethnic minority with very less Khmer. Take a short boat trip to witness a few tribal villages including Tampoun and Ka Choan whose traditional routines have never been bothered by the modern world. There are a lot of chances to take photos of beautiful surroundings and even take some photos with tribal villagers.

DAY 10 | Rattanakiri to Preah Vihear & Visit Koh Ker Temple

Rise early to have breakfast. We check out and head to Preah Vihear Province, the journey offers charming countryside landscape when it drives passing from one village to others. We will visit the Pre-Angkorian temple “Koh Ker”, a former capital of The Khmer Empire – built in 9th century, an amazing architecture in Pyramid shape with seven tiered and 36 metre high. Return to Preah Vihear town and check in the hotel. Overnight in Preah Vihear.

DAY 11 | Preah Vihear Temple & Drive to Battambang

Check out of the hotel then we head out to visit Preah Vihear temple atop a cliff in Dangrek Mountain. Once we arrived at the foot of the mountain, we process a 4 wheel-drive car going up directly to the temple. Unlock the mysterious history of this ancient Hindu temple which was built during the Angkor Time. Wander around to see the surroundings, take some photos of spectacular views. Return to our car, continue to visit Ta Mok House – the historical site and a house who owned by the former Khmer Rouge Commander named “Ta Mok”. Witness tragic history and learn how Khmer Rouge organized their rebels to struggle against the government. Finally, we drive directly to Battambang. Overnight in Battambang for 2 nights.

DAY 12 | Battambang – Bamboo Train & The Surroundings

After breakfast, we set off to venture the unique experience on the famous bamboo train in Battambang, cruising on the track of the train while enjoying scenic village views. Continue to wander around the infamous Prohoc market “Fermented Fish Market”, observe rice paper making and try the taste of Cambodian rice wine before visiting Wat Ek Phnom – an Angkorain temple built in the 11th century.
Afternoon, drive to have a visit to Battambang winery, process to Phnom Sampov where you enjoy the active walking up to the mountain to see the spectacular sunset, witness the killing caves and watch thousands of bats flying back to their homes.
Evening, enjoy dinner at a selected local restaurant.

DAY 13 | Battambang to Siem Reap

Breakfast is at hotel. Check out to see Battambang’s morning highlights, take some pictures of French colonial buildings. Continue driving to the fabulous landmark of Angkor Siem Reap. On the way, we stop to visit Puok silk farm where we observe the silk processing and see a lot of finest silk products displaying. Check in and overnight in Siem Reap. Simply relax by the poolside and overnight in Siem Reap for 3 nights.

DAY 14 | Full Day Angkor Discovery

We depart hotel at 8.30am for full day guided Angkor exploration, start with the south gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces, stroll to explore Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king, terrace of elephant & Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed. Enjoy delicious set lunch at Triple K air conditioning restaurant.
After lunch, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest monument in the world. Unlock the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia. Sunset is available at Phnom Bakheng (always crowded & limited allowance) or alternatively to a bit quiet at Pre Rup temple.

DAY 15 | Something Unique & Kompong Phluk Mangroves

Breakfast is at hotel. We set off to a nearby countryside to experience oxcart adventure through rural village to interact local people, see animals, fresh vegetable gardens and rice fields dotting with palm trees. Enjoy fresh coconut juice & tropical fruits before heading to visit Cambodian Liqueur workshop where you have a chance to test many different liqueur flavors and followed by finger snacks. Continue for guided orientation at the finest Artisan Angkor wood/stone carving centre displaying various defined handicraft and silk products, continue to stroll around old market for shopping and see daily trading.

Afternoon, continue to Kompong Phluk; one of the stilt house village located at the edge of Tonle Sap Lake. We process to embark a private sheltered boat, enjoy sightseeing along the canal before the excursion reaches the stilt houses. The boat slides slowly through high stilted houses, come across the highlight of fishing activities. Witness how life works on the water and how people make the lake as home. Resume by canoe to explore the mangroves with pleasant surroundings, we may see the waterbirds before we dock to our regular boat to see the great lake of Tonle Sap.
Evening, transfer to have set menu dinner followed by Apsara dance performance.

DAY 16 | Phnom Kulen Waterfall & Departure

We drive out of the hassle city at 8.00am, passing beautiful countryside before arriving at Phnom Kulen; one of Cambodia’s national parks that provides wonderful holiday and a great place to cool off. Phnom Kulen used to be the ancient capital city in 802AD – after King Jayavarman II was initiated as the royal “God of the King”. Enjoy the guided walking tour to visit Preah Ang Thom – the reclining giant Buddha statue. Continue to witness historical site of 1000 linga carvings under the riverbed, you also have a chance to see the secret pool where the white clear water coming out of the ground all year round. Resume the walking to the beautiful waterfall where we can refresh, bathe and swim. Near the waterfall there are some local huts where we enjoy local lunch & fresh coconut (own account). Enjoy the relaxation and feel the nature until late afternoon then we transfer you back to hotel.
Our guide and driver transfer you to airport for your flight back home. Goodbye to Cambodia.

DAY 10 | Rattanakiri to Preah Vihear & Visit Koh Ker Temple

Rise early to have breakfast. We check out and head to Preah Vihear Province, the journey offers charming countryside landscape when it drives passing from one village to others. We will visit the Pre-Angkorian temple “Koh Ker”, a former capital of The Khmer Empire – built in 9th century, an amazing architecture in Pyramid shape with seven tiered and 36 metre high. Return to Preah Vihear town and check in the hotel. Overnight in Preah Vihear.

DAY 11 | Preah Vihear Temple & Drive to Battambang

Check out of the hotel then we head out to visit Preah Vihear temple atop a cliff in Dangrek Mountain. Once we arrived at the foot of the mountain, we process a 4 wheel-drive car going up directly to the temple. Unlock the mysterious history of this ancient Hindu temple which was built during the Angkor Time. Wander around to see the surroundings, take some photos of spectacular views. Return to our car, continue to visit Ta Mok House – the historical site and a house who owned by the former Khmer Rouge Commander named “Ta Mok”. Witness tragic history and learn how Khmer Rouge organized their rebels to struggle against the government. Finally, we drive directly to Battambang. Overnight in Battambang for 2 nights.

DAY 12 | Battambang – Bamboo Train & The Surroundings

After breakfast, we set off to venture the unique experience on the famous bamboo train in Battambang, cruising on the track of the train while enjoying scenic village views. Continue to wander around the infamous Prohoc market “Fermented Fish Market”, observe rice paper making and try the taste of Cambodian rice wine before visiting Wat Ek Phnom – an Angkorain temple built in the 11th century.
Afternoon, drive to have a visit to Battambang winery, process to Phnom Sampov where you enjoy the active walking up to the mountain to see the spectacular sunset, witness the killing caves and watch thousands of bats flying back to their homes.
Evening, enjoy dinner at a selected local restaurant.

DAY 13 | Battambang to Siem Reap

Breakfast is at hotel. Check out to see Battambang’s morning highlights, take some pictures of French colonial buildings. Continue driving to the fabulous landmark of Angkor Siem Reap. On the way, we stop to visit Puok silk farm where we observe the silk processing and see a lot of finest silk products displaying. Check in and overnight in Siem Reap. Simply relax by the poolside and overnight in Siem Reap for 3 nights.

DAY 14 | Full Day Angkor Discovery

We depart hotel at 8.30am for full day guided Angkor exploration, start with the south gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces, stroll to explore Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king, terrace of elephant & Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed. Enjoy delicious set lunch at Triple K air conditioning restaurant.
After lunch, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest monument in the world. Unlock the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia. Sunset is available at Phnom Bakheng (always crowded & limited allowance) or alternatively to a bit quiet at Pre Rup temple.

DAY 15 | Something Unique & Kompong Phluk Mangroves

Breakfast is at hotel. We set off to a nearby countryside to experience oxcart adventure through rural village to interact local people, see animals, fresh vegetable gardens and rice fields dotting with palm trees. Enjoy fresh coconut juice & tropical fruits before heading to visit Cambodian Liqueur workshop where you have a chance to test many different liqueur flavors and followed by finger snacks. Continue for guided orientation at the finest Artisan Angkor wood/stone carving centre displaying various defined handicraft and silk products, continue to stroll around old market for shopping and see daily trading.

Afternoon, continue to Kompong Phluk; one of the stilt house village located at the edge of Tonle Sap Lake. We process to embark a private sheltered boat, enjoy sightseeing along the canal before the excursion reaches the stilt houses. The boat slides slowly through high stilted houses, come across the highlight of fishing activities. Witness how life works on the water and how people make the lake as home. Resume by canoe to explore the mangroves with pleasant surroundings, we may see the waterbirds before we dock to our regular boat to see the great lake of Tonle Sap.
Evening, transfer to have set menu dinner followed by Apsara dance performance.

DAY 16 | Phnom Kulen Waterfall & Departure

We drive out of the hassle city at 8.00am, passing beautiful countryside before arriving at Phnom Kulen; one of Cambodia’s national parks that provides wonderful holiday and a great place to cool off. Phnom Kulen used to be the ancient capital city in 802AD – after King Jayavarman II was initiated as the royal “God of the King”. Enjoy the guided walking tour to visit Preah Ang Thom – the reclining giant Buddha statue. Continue to witness historical site of 1000 linga carvings under the riverbed, you also have a chance to see the secret pool where the white clear water coming out of the ground all year round. Resume the walking to the beautiful waterfall where we can refresh, bathe and swim. Near the waterfall there are some local huts where we enjoy local lunch & fresh coconut (own account). Enjoy the relaxation and feel the nature until late afternoon then we transfer you back to hotel.
Our guide and driver transfer you to airport for your flight back home. Goodbye to Cambodia.
