Chreav Village Walk & Talk Half Day Tour
Not big different from Chreav village oxcart riding tour, this tour is also great for those who love to walk to explore local lifestyles and its surroundings. Our local tour guide accompanies you and explain you about what his beautiful village has for tourists to visit, and you meet a lot of authentic activities and take photos of interesting activities.
Place You Visit: Siem Reap
You will be welcomed by our local guide and driver at your hotel’s lobby at 7.30am then we’re heading out of the hassle city about 5km and another 2km on the dirt road. We will stop at Chreav community office where you get introduced and meet your tour guide, get to know how the Chreav community works closely with the village to give back to the locals and enrich the locals to understand why ecotourism is important to the whole community and their living income. Continue by car passing beautiful countryside, huge rice paddies with some birds, vegetable farms, traditional stilt houses, see animals, cows, water buffaloes and other interesting rural activities. Enjoy guided market tour at Chreav market to see daily trading activities before the walking tour begins through the village, come across with a lot of encounters, meet local people and you probably want to chat with them or help them with gardening works or help grow vegetables in the gardens, you will be welcomed by kids saying “Hello” to you. The village tour guide will explain you about Cambodian daily lifestyle, customers, cultures and superstitions. This is a wonderful village tour that provides a lot of photo opportunities. Near the end of the trip, we enjoy seasonal fruits & fresh coconut juice at a host family’s house before we transfer you back to the hotel.

When is the best time to visit?
The best time to advance the oxcart experience is after the rainy season, from mid of October to the end of January when everything looks green, growing, fresh and the weather is also awesome in Cambodia.
Dressing code & What to bring along?
We strongly advise you to dress appropriately to cover shoulders & knees, this is to show your respect to the locals and other active sites. Should bring along hat, sun cream, sunglasses and extra water to dehydrate due to humidity.
Payment Method & Cancellation
Upfront payment is not required once you confirmed the trip. The payment will be settled in US dollar on the touring day before the tour starts. However, paying by credit card is available through our PayWay online system if you wish to pay in advance but 3.7% is surcharged as bank’s policy.
Any cancellation is made less than 48 – 24 hours, 50% of total amount is charged and less than 24 hours is 100% charged, and the cancellation fee will be collected from you at your hotel.
